The size of the govt. will not be reduced unless social issues are addressed

Some fake conservatives such as Mitch Daniels (RINO-IN) pretend that America’s fiscal problems can be solved without any solution to social issues and that social issues are irrelevant.

They’re lying. (BTW, Mitch Daniels is liberal on social AND fiscal AND defense issues. As Bush’s OMB Director, he said that a balanced budget was not “the highest priority”, and he turned budget surpluses into budget deficits. As Governor of Indiana, he has failed to balance the state budget and has surrenderd to unions.)

Social issues and fiscal issues are two sides of the same coin.

America’s fiscal problems cannot be addressed until social issues are addressed. The cause of America’s fiscal woes is, as everyone knows, the excessive budget, size and scope of the federal government. One of the chief causes of that, in turn, is that the federal government has adopted socially liberal policies and is subsidizing single mothers, spoiled families, promiscous women, and anti-male policies. Also, all 50-states have adopted anti-male laws such as no-fault divorce laws.

In FY2010, the federal government spent $888 bn on 70 different welfare programs. (By comparison, total military spending for FY2010, including the cost of the GWOT, was $664 bn in FY2010, or $674 bn in today’s money.)

A large part of this spending was spent on single mothers, and another part on various welfare programs for chldren of single mothers. Also, a separate budget item was the subsidy for Planned Parenthood abortion clinics.

The cost of welfare programs – $888 bn per year – is so huge because the federal government not only tolerates, but even encourages people to behave irresponsibly, and subsidizes single mothers, spoiled families, promiscous women, and anti-male policies.

Moreover, anti-male laws such as no-fault divorces, alimony laws, child support payment laws, and anti-rape laws are strangulating the economy by 1) discouraging 22% of American males from marrying (and thus earning more than they need to survive alone); 2) punishing 30% of American males (divorced males) for the decisions made by their wives (women initiate divorce in 70% of all divorce cases).

Politicians who refuse to address social issues are not serious about reducing the budget, size and scope of the federal government.

If you do not want social issues to be addressed, you are not serious about reducing the budget, size and scope of the federal government.
